Evan: Giants will exceed expectations, play meaningful games in December
Evan was low on the Giants heading into last season, but in 2024, as many expect another down year in New York, he believes Big Blue will surprise some people this fall.
“I think they’re gonna exceed expectations,” Evan said.
Some have the Giants winning as few as four games this season after winning just six last year, but Evan believes they can clear both of those benchmarks, and play meaningful football down the stretch thanks to a stout defensive front, a promising rookie receiver in Malik Nabers, and what is hopefully a more healthy and stable offensive line.
“I don’t want to say that’s crazy. I understand why people are saying that,” Evan said of the team’s low win projections. “That’s fine…I lean towards, in December, they are playing meaningful football. In December, they’re in the ‘in the hunt’ graphic that you see on CBS and FOX.”
