Falcons borrow Trae Young's villain persona to troll New Yorkers after win over Giants

The Atlanta Falcons got their first win of the season on Sunday when Younghoe Koo nailed a 40-yard field goal as time expired to put the visiting Falcons on top, 17-14.

Atlanta's win pushed the New York Giants to 0-3 and gave the Falcons' social media staff an epic way to troll New Yorkers.

Enter Trae Young, who became a villain in New York, a role the young Atlanta Hawks point guard has embraced since the NBA playoffs.

Young was mercilessly booed at Madison Square Garden back in May. But he got the last laugh, not only masterfully balling out to help his team eliminate the home-team Knicks, but taking a bow on after finishing the deed.

The Falcons borrowed from the New York-killing Young's new villain persona to troll New Yorkers after Koo sealed Atlanta's win in New York.

The rivalry between Young and the city of New York has transcended into not only the NFL on Sunday, but WWE as well.
