The NFL schedule is officially out, so while we’ve known the opponents and the venues for the 17 games the Giants will play this season, we now know exactly when those games will take place. And, so, we can officially bring you this: our list of the five “biggest” games to watch this season, at MetLife Stadium or somewhere else! NOTE: all times subject to change.

WEEK 2: Giants at Washington, Sept. 16 at 8:20 p.m. ET
Big Blue gets their Thursday nighter out of the way almost immediately, heading down to DC in Week 2 to take on the team that stole the NFC East title last year thanks to Tankadelphia. What more can you say?

WEEK 8: Giants at Chiefs, Nov. 1 at 8:15 p.m. ET
Two Monday night games for Big Blue this year, and the first ends the Halloween weekend slate…in KC…against the defending AFC Champions. November for the Giants includes two Monday nighters against the defending conference champs and their first date with the Eagles, and this is what kicks it off.

WEEK 11: Giants at Buccaneers, Nov. 22 at 8:15 p.m. ET
Last year, the Bucs and Giants met on a Monday night in what turned out to be a great game, won by the Bucs 25-23 after the Giants took a 17-15 lead into the fourth. This year, they meet again on Monday night – but it’s in Tampa, the Bucs are the defending champs, and the Giants are coming off an extended bye, getting 15 days between games because of the Monday nighter. What a way to kick off Thanksgiving week!

WEEK 12: Giants vs. Eagles, Nov. 28 at 1 p.m. ET
The Giants already circled this one on their calendars, so we are, too! It’s the first Birds/Big Blue matchup of the year, as the Giants’ schedule has seven straight out-of-division games and a bye between Washington and Philly, but they play five division games in their second half.

WEEK 17: Giants at Bears, Jan. 2 at 1 p.m. ET
When the Eagles struck again and stole DeVonta Smith at No. 10, the Giants pivoted, and dropped back to No. 20 in a trade with Chicago. They got a few extra picks and Kadarius Toney, and on New Year’s weekend, the G-Men could get a look at the man the Bears traded up to 11 for, one Justin Fields. The former OSU star is no stranger to a big New Year’s stage, but where will the Bears be come January? Oh, yeah, and Saquon Barkley comes full circle too, against the team that ended his 2020 season.
