Following Thursday night's embarassing loss to the Eagles, the Giants sit at 1-5 and are staring down the barrel of yet another disastrous season.
A lot of the blame will certainly fall on the shoulder of Eli Manning after his lackluster performance. Manning completed just 55.8 percent of his passes for 281 yards and an interception, averaging just 6.54 yards per pass attempt while finishing with a 66.1 Passer Rating.

The loss doesn't fall entirely on Manning though. New York's offensive line suffered its worst game of the season, allowing Manning to get sacked four times for a loss of 27 yards.
Those numbers don't even tell the whole story...
Manning was under duress throughout the entire game, with Philadelphia racking up 13 QB hits in addition to the four sacks.
Things weren't much better on the defensive side of the ball, as the defense gave up 34 points to the Eagles Thursday, making it the third consecutive game in which New York has allowed its opponent to finish with at least 33 points.
Mike Francesa had a lot to say on the matter, and opened Friday's edition of Mike's On with a fiery rant about the state of the Giants franchise.

"The Giants won three games last year. They're 1-5 this year. If you take out the 11-5 [2016 season>, they had three losing seasons before that. Do the math," Francesa exclaimed. "Over the last five years, the Giants have stunk. That's the math. Over these years, they haven't either come close to the playoffs, or when they did go to the playoffs, win a playoff game. They have done absolutely nothing.
"This once proud franchise has become one of the real laughingstocks of the NFL. The Giants- if you start with the last game in the playoffs from the 11-5 season, and you go 0-1 there, then you go 3-13, and then you go 1-5... the Giants have won four- four!- of their last 23 games. That's 4-19. 4-19 in the NFL is garbage! That is at the bottom of the league! That is Cleveland Browns territory, and that's what the Giants have become."
