Giants sign OL Mark Glowinski, who once helped push stranded motorist's to safety

The New York Giants are signing former Colts guard Mark Glowinski to a three-year, $20 million deal with $11.4 million fully guaranteed, hoping he can step in and stabilize a guard spot that was a revolving door after the Giants cut Kevin Zeitler in the 2021 offseason and lost Shane Lemieux to a season-ending injury.

However, Glowinski, who has been the Colts’ starting right guard for the last four seasons, may be more known for something he once did off the field: he’s the guy who, back in 2019, helped a stranded motorist by pushing their car to a gas station:

That kind of work certainly helped Glowinski on the field, as his Pro Football Focus metrics from 2021 say he allowed 38 total pressures and only two sacks on 476 pass-blocking snaps last season.
