The Giants announced the completion of an interview with another general manager candidate on Thursday, this one coming from another Cardinals product.
New York sat down with Quentin Harris, Arizona’s vice president of player personnel, a day after interviewing Cardinals VP of pro personnel Adrian Wilson.
Harris has been with the Cardinals scouting department for the last 14 years, and was promoted to his current role in February of 2021. Harris works alongside Arizona GM Steve Keim in managing college and pro personnel departments, and evaluates top college prospects. Harris also assists in negotiating player contracts.
Harris played four seasons with the Cardinals at safety from 2002 to 2005, and finished his playing career with the Broncos in 2007. He became a scout with the Cardinals a year later. His NFL career included a brief stop in New York with the Giants, but was released at the end of training camp in 2006.
Harris’ Cardinals are currently preparing for a playoff game against the Rams in the NFC Wild Card round, while the Giants will continue to interview their GM candidates. In addition to Harris and Wilson, the team has already interviewed Bills assistant GM Joe Schoen.
