The Giants wrapped up the week with by interviewing their sixth general manager candidate, announcing on Friday that they had completed a remote interview with Titans director of player personnel Monti Ossenfort.
Ossenfort is completing his second season under his current position for playoff-bound Tennessee, which clinched the top seed in the AFC playoffs this year.
Prior to his time with the Titans, the 43-year-old Ossenfort spent nearly 15 years with the Patriots organization, the last six as New England’s director of college scouting.
Ossenfort also spent time in the Texans organization, and played quarterback for Division III University of Minnesota-Morris.
In addition, New York completed an interview with Joe Horitz on Saturday. Horitz, 46, has been with the Ravens for nearly a quarter century, now as the team's director of player personnel, a position he has held for the last three years.
Horitz is one of Baltimore general manager Eric DeCosta's chief personnel evaluators, and has helped put together two Super Bowl champions, most recently in 2013.
New York also interviewed Titans vice president of player personnel Ryan Cowden on Friday. The team reportedly has nine candidates to be interviewed, and want to decide on a GM before moving on to their head coaching vacancy.
