The Giants cuts continued on Tuesday, with the team reportedly letting go of running back Devontae Booker.

The move, reported by Dan Duggan of The Athletic, will free just over $2 million in cap space and will leave $1 million in dead money. Big Blue also released tight end Kyle Rudolph on Wednesday, which freed up roughly $5 million in space. That move left Joe Schoen and the Giants needing to shed another $7 million to get under the cap, so cutting Booker moves that needle closer to out of the red.

Booker, a former fourth-round pick, logged 593 rushing yards last season, his first with the Giants and his best mark since his rookie year with the Broncos. It also tied Saquon Barkley for the most rushing yards on the team. He signed a two-year, $5.5 million deal last March.
