The Giants did not wind up going the quarterback route with their first pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, instead electing to take a weapon for their current QB in Daniel Jones.
With the sixth pick in the draft, Big Blue selected LSU wide receiver Malik Nabers, a trendy assumption for New York if Joe Schoen and company didn’t go with a replacement for Jones in the first round.
Nabers was an All-American in 2023, starting in all 13 games for the Tigers while setting a school record with 189 receptions. He also now holds the school record for career receiving yards with 3,003.
Nabers stands at 6-foot-flat, weighing 200 pounds. He will join a Giants receiver room that includes Wan’Dale Robinson, Darius Slayton, and Jalin Hyatt.
