The Giants have reportedly agreed on a two-year, $22 million contract extension with left guard Jon Runyan, according to ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter.
According to Schefter, $21.5 million of the contract is guaranteed.
Runyan's extension comes after some offseason speculation that he could have been an eventual salary cap casualty, but instead, New York recommits to the 29-year-old who was entering the final year of his contract, a three-year deal he signed in 2024. The reported contract extension continues a trend of the Giants securing their revamped offensive line to contracts stretching beyond this season.
Runyan started 16 games for Big Blue last season, and 13 the year before. He is entering his seventh NFL season.
Runyan was not the only Giant to sign an extension, as backup quarterback Jameis Winston agreed to a two-year extension of his own, according to multiple reports.
