Kenny Golladay seemed a little remorseful about some of his postgame comments from Sunday, noting during a Thursday media session that he can’t let things visible get the best of him.

“I have to be professional at all times,” Golladay said.

The $72 million man was benched for the second half of the Giants’ win over the Texans after two dropped passes that were quite egregious.
The fans let him know about it, but on Thursday, he doubled down that the outside noise isn’t an issue to him.

“I’m not worried about the fans,” he said, adding “no” when asked if the booing bothers him.

The Giants’ coaching staff has said all the right things about Golladay this season, even as many pundits surmise the team is just biding time until they can move on without serious financial penalty – and our own Brandon Tierney, even, has said “(Golladay) is totally washed.”

So what say you, offensive coordinator Mike Kafka?

“Kenny’s been a pro; he comes to work every single day, this week was no different,” Kafka said. “He’s had great days of work, and it’s just one of those things that you play through it.”

Between injuries and inconsistency, Golladay has played 125 snaps over five games and has just two catches for 22 yards on eight targets – but that doesn’t mean he can’t be a force over the final eight games.

“It’s one of those things, you play through it,” Kafka said. “We tell our guys all the time to have quick memories, good or bad. You learn from it, flush it, and move on.”
