Kevin Abrams is staying with the Giants, but he will have a new title.
The former assistant general manager will now be the team’s senior vice president of football operations and strategy, Big Blue announced on Saturday.
Abrams will now return for what will be his 24th season with the Giants, 20 of them as the assistant GM. But ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Saturday morning that Eagles director of player personnel Brandon Brown has been hired as the assistant GM to work alongside Joe Schoen.
"Kevin has been and will continue to be an invaluable resource for me and our staff," Schoen said in Saturday’s statement. "In his new role, Kevin will be assisting with the day-to-day football operation, administration and strategy of the organization moving forward."
