Kadarius Toney, the Giants’ first selection in the 2021 NFL Draft, has been placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list, the team announced Thursday afternoon.
The Giants said the wide receiver is following league protocols by isolating and participating in team meetings remotely. Toney and the other Giants rookies reported to training camp on Wednesday.
Toney was the 20th overall pick in this year’s draft, taken out of the University of Florida after New York traded with the Bears to move back from 11th overall.
