For the Giants, the 2021 season will be a celebration of the return of full capacity crowds, and the celebration of the franchise’s last Super Bowl victory.
New York will be taking the 2021 campaign to acknowledge the 10-year anniversary of the team’s dramatic Super Bowl XLVI win over the Patriots, including a reunion weekend that will take place when the Giants host the Rams on Oct. 17. The festivities will include pre-game and halftime ceremonies, a video tribute and many players from the championship team in attendance.
“Winning Super Bowl XLVI was an incredible achievement in our franchise's history,” team president and CEO John Mara said in a statement. “We look forward to recognizing that historic season with the enthusiastic support of our fans, and the players, coaches and staff who dedicated so much that season to help us reach our ultimate goal of winning a championship.”
The season-long celebration will also include an eight-part podcast series called “All in NYG,” which will feature members of the team looking back on the memorable season, and limited edition merchandise will be on sale.
Eli Manning, Victor Cruz and Justin Tuck will be among the notable names included in the podcast series.
The Giants’ victory at Super Bowl XLVI was the team’s second in four years, both against the Patriots, and the fourth championship in franchise history.
