The Colts have reportedly narrowed their head coaching search down from 13 candidates to seven, and Giants defensive coordinator Wink Martindale has made the first cut.
According to Zak Keefer of The Athletic, Martindale joins Jeff Saturday, Raheem Morris, Rich Bisaccia, and others as candidates who will continue to be considered for the job. Saturday was the interim head coach that finished out this season.
Martindale interviewed with the Colts for a second time on Saturday, in person after an initial virtual interview.
Big Blue offensive coordinator Mike Kafka was also an initial candidate for the Colts job, but it is Martindale who will continue to be considered.
