In the second quarter of the Los Angeles Chargers Week 14 tilt with the New York Giants, Justin Herbert connected with wide receiver Jalen Guyton on a 59-yard touchdown pass:
Given the distance of the throw and that the pass rush was closing in on him, Herbert completed a pass that very few players in NFL history could have made.
As noted in the tweet above, one of the quarterbacks you feel pretty certain could have made that throw was Michael Vick. And Herbert's display of incredible arm strength on the touchdown pass reminded some of a great Powerade commercial that Vick starred in during his time with the Atlanta Falcons:
Herbert -- the No. 6 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft -- is the reigning Offensive Rookie of the Year. The second-year pro now has 29 touchdown passes this season.
