The Giants seem to have bottomed out already in the 2021 season, falling to 0-3 after losing to the previously winless and banged-up Falcons at home.
But head coach Joe Judge showed his belief in his group as he stepped away from the podium after his postgame press conference on Sunday.

“We’ll be alright, guys, OK?” Judge said before leaving the interview room. “We’ll be alright.”
Giants fans clearly didn’t feel much optimism, booing co-owner John Mara at halftime during Eli Manning’s jersey retirement ceremony, and continued to voice their frustration during Sunday’s loss, as New York continues to search for its first win after dropping two in a row to late field goals.
“I love our crowd,” Judge said. “It’s New York, it's supposed to be a tough place to be, right? Isn’t that the nature of where we’re at right there? People demand excellence because that’s where we’re at, the biggest market. Isn’t that what people want right there? So that’s what we have to work to give them.
“It’s not their job to show up here and just give us a pat on the back. It's our job to entertain them and give them something to cheer about. That’s it.”

Judge also isn’t worried about the losses affecting his group, although the Giants now have a big hole to climb out of if they want to reach the postseason. New York caught fire late in the season last year but couldn’t overcome a slow start, and they’ll have to stop the slide in a hurry before the season slips away before the end of October. But Judge thinks the turnaround is coming.
“I think the DNA of our team is that comes back and goes to work,” Judge said. “In terms of the morale of the team, I trust in the way the guys work. The way I’ve seen them work on a day in and day out basis. They stick together as a team. That’s the biggest thing I’m looking for, is how they work.”
