The Giants may have a new head coach by the end of the weekend – but one internal candidate continues to make alternate plans just in case.
According to Pat Leonard of the Daily News, Giants defensive coordinator Patrick Graham will interview virtually for the Minnesota Vikings’ head coaching job on Saturday, his second head gig interview and third overall of the week.

Graham met with the Giants Wednesday about moving up to the top spot on the staff, and on Thursday, he interviewed in Pittsburgh for their defensive coordinator position that became vacant when Keith Butler retired earlier this month.
Graham has expressed interest in staying on as Giants defensive coordinator under whomever the new head coach is (if it’s not him), but has also long said his desire is to indeed be a head coach.
The Giants have an in-person second interview with Bills defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier scheduled for Friday, after which the brain trust will reportedly huddle and make a decision that could be announced as soon as Saturday.
