Report: Joe Judge's job with Giants is safe

Joe Judge will never say it himself, as he told reporters earlier on Monday that he will “never comment” on his, or anybody else on the coaching staff’s, job security, but Judge’s job is reportedly safe for now.

According to SNY’s Ralph Vacchiano, league sources say that there is still “no chance” of the Giants firing Judge after this season, as team co-owner John Mara is still enamored with Judge and has high hopes for the second year head coach, despite Judge currently holding a 10-19 record in New York.

The Giants have had five head coaches since 2015 (one being interim head coach Steve Spagnuolo, as the position has hardly held any level of stability through what has been five straight losing seasons with the team.

Mara hasn’t spoken to reporters since before the season began, save for one brief interview with the New York Post in October, when he emphatically supported Judge during a rough start to the season. Things haven’t gotten any better for the Giants since then, but it seems like it hasn’t gotten bad enough for the front office to begin pondering another change at head coach.
