Sam Prince, a 19-year-old from North Caldwell, N.J., found out last week that Make-A-Wish was going to make his dream come true: he would get to announce the Giants' first of two first-round picks in Round 1 of the NFL Draft Thursday night.
A lifelong Giants fan, Prince was born with hypoplastic left heart syndrome, a condition in which the left side of the heart is underdeveloped, and has just one working lung. He had a hear transplant in 2011, and Thursday night, he made the most of his chance by announcing the selection of Kayvon Thibodeaux with as much gusto as he could.
