Tiki rips Giants, NFL players doing 'walk-ins': 'Come to work, don't come to a fashion show'

Tiki called out the Giants’ effort and focus during Sunday’s loss to the Cowboys, and ripped the modern scene of players walking into the stadium on game days highlighting their unique outfits and accessories.

The Giants social media accounts, like many other teams in the league, posted photos of players reporting for game day and the fits they were sporting on their way in. It’s something Tiki has grown very tired of.

“I hate the walk-ins that they do these days,” Tiki said. “Come to work man, don’t come to a fashion show. Come to work. If you’re great, and you’re Justin Jefferson, come in with a $15,000 sweater. I don’t give a crap. But if you have work to do, look like an employee who is coming to work. Not someone trying to show out for Madison Avenue.”

Once the Giants changed into their uniforms and took the field, they were thoroughly manhandled by the Cowboys in a 40-0 loss, and the seemingly lack of fight from Big Blue was a shock to Tiki.

“I’m just so annoyed by this team,” Tiki said. “The last thing I expected was for them to look like they didn’t care. That’s what it felt like watching the Giants [Sunday] night.”
