The New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles are meeting for the 174th time on Sunday – and there still was room for a first.
When both teams went into the locker room with the score tied 3-3 at halftime, it was a bit of scorigami: this marked the first time ever the two teams were tied at a field goal apiece after 30 minutes.
And yes, the score did in fact indicate just how underwhelming the game was, as social media was NOT shy about pointing out what an ugly half of football the two teams played at Lincoln Financial Field, which was succinctly pointed out by SNY’s Ralph Vacchiano:
