As the NFL playoffs continue onward towards the Super Bowl, many fans in New York are wondering if they will be able to watch their favorite teams at this time next year.
Gio won't be holding his breath, and will go into next year expecting more disappointment from the Giants and Jets.
"We said we couldn't do it this year, and we did," Gio said. "I'm fully prepared for more disaster during the football season. I can't go in with hope anymore for either of these teams."
Both New York teams flopped in 2023 despite coming in with the most collective hype around the two teams in recent memory, so Gio says he has learned his lesson, and won't expect much from either team in 2024, and will hope he is pleasantly surprised.
"I'm gonna go in with low expectations, and when they both suck again, I'll be prepared for it," Gio said. "As opposed to when we walked in here after Aaron Rodgers got hurt."
