Boomer is convinced that Gio is picking the Giants to beat the Jets on Sunday, and while Gio won't yet commit to his pick, it is no secret who he wants to win in the battle for New York bragging rights.
"I can't wait for the Giants to beat down the Jets this weekend," Gio said. "This is the emotion now. You've made me want the Giants to win this game.
"What a glorious Monday that is going to be, if the Giants win. The Giants fans will be after you the way they were after me."
Gio is pulling hard for Big Blue, as he believes the Jets are being overrated after beating the Eagles before their bye week, and Boomer predicting a "slam spot" in favor of Gang Green is only intensifying Gio's Giants support.
"I'm about to order a Dexter Lawrence jersey," Gio said. "I've never wanted the Giants to win a game more than this one."
