Al Dukes was tasked with booking Randy Moss for a Boomer and Gio show during Super Bowl week, and while he did the job, he didn't exactly do it totally correctly.
The issue? Al booked the wrong Randy Moss.
Gio, a Vikings fan, thought he was getting the former Minnesota star wide receiver, but Al actually booked horse racing broadcaster Randy Moss.
"You booked the white Randy Moss!" Gio said. "You booked the wrong one, you idiot!"
"No wonder they were so excited, too," Al replied. "In all fairness, this person has got to say, 'Just to be clear, this is not take-the-top-off-the-defense Randy Moss.'
"You can't say 'NFL Network,' talk about the NFL, and be talking about horse racing Randy Moss."
Al said the response to the interview inquiry was "very misleading" as he tried to defend himself for the mistake, but despite the miscue, it made for hilarious radio.
"I wonder how many people have this Randy Moss booked thinking they have No. 84," Al said.
