The Islanders' road game against the Bruins on Tuesday night has been postponed as a result of four Boston players entering COVID-19 protocol.
The Bruins are expected to return to practice on Wednesday, and could be ready to play their next scheduled game following Tuesday's postponement, which would also be against the Islanders on Thursday.
Tuesday's game would have been Boston's first home contest with fans in the arena.
The Islanders have lost two in a row after winning nine straight. They are in action next on Saturday against the Flyers.
