The Jets and Giants have pulled off a trade on draft night.
Big Blue sent the 36th pick to Gang Green for the 38th and 146th picks, marking the second time in as many nights that the Jets have made a trade to move up in the draft.
On Thursday night, they acquired the 26th overall pick to select edge rusher Jermaine Johnson from Florida State. With this trade, the Jets took Iowa State running back Breece Hall.
In 2021, Hall rushed for 1,472 yards and scored 20 touchdowns. He could slot in to Mike LaFleur's running back by committee with Michael Carter.
Big Blue immediately traded that 38th overall pick to the Falcons to get picks 43 and 114.
