2024 NFL Draft: New York Jets Day 3 pick tracker for Rounds 4-7

Gang Green made just one pick on each of the first two days of the NFL Draft, but thanks to a slew of trades, they entered Saturday with six Day 3 selections, including three in the fourth round.

By the time the day ended, though, they had five picks (thanks to FOUR trades), and you can read below for some quick capsules of the Jets’ Day 3 picks – and remember, tune into WFAN on Monday morning at 6 a.m. as Boomer & Gio kick off a day full of Draft recap!

THREE TRADES, ONE ROUND
The Jets' three fourth-rounders became one in the span of an hour. No. 111 was dealt to Green Bay (who picked Oregon S Evan Williams) for Nos. 126 and 190, and after 126 was sent to the Lions (who picked Canadian OT Giovanni Manu) for a 2025 third-rounder, the Jets quickly sent No. 129 to San Francisco for Nos. 173 and 176.

ROUND 4, NO. 134 OVERALL: RB Braelon Allen, Wisconsin
So, after their other two fourth-rounders became three later picks and a 2025 selection, the Jets got on the board with Allen, who was Second Team All-Big Ten in all three of his seasons in Madison. Allen had 1,268 yards and 12 TD in 2021, 1,248 yards and 11 TD in 2022, and 984 yards and 12 TD in 2023.

ROUND 5, NO. 171 OVERALL: QB Jordan Travis, Florida State
Dealin’ Douglas struck again in Round 5, trading the Jets’ No. 185 pick and the No. 190 they got earlier in the day to move up to select Travis, who was 29-10 in 39 games as FSU’s starter and led them to an undefeated regular season. Travis finished fifth in the Heisman voting despite being injured 10 games in, and he still threw for 2,734 yards and 20 TD against just 2 INT in those games.

ROUND 5, NO. 173 OVERALL: RB Isaiah Davis, South Dakota State
Two picks after moving up for Travis the Jets went to the FCS for Davis, who was All-Missouri Valley in 2022 and 2023 and an All-American this season for the two-time defending National Champion Jackrabbits. In his All-American year, Davis rushed for 1,451 yards and 15 touchdowns.

ROUND 5, NO. 176 OVERALL: CB Qwan’Tez Stiggers, Toronto Argonauts
Completing the set with their third pick in a half-hour was a great story in Stiggers, who was selected out of the CFL after a long journey. Stiggers’ father passed away in 2020 when Stiggers was a freshman at Division II Lane College in Tennessee, leading him to leave his football scholarship. He ended up playing in the Fan Controlled Football League in 2022 and was signed to the Argos in 2023, where he played in 16 regular-season games and had 56 tackles and five interceptions to earn an All-Star nod and the CFL’s Most Outstanding Rookie Award. Stiggers was invited to the 2024 East-West Shrine Bowl, as 2023 would’ve been his senior season in college, and now he’s in the NFL.

ROUND 7, NO. 257 OVERALL: S Jayden Key, Alabama
Gang Green made three picks in a half-hour then waited a couple hours for Mr. Irrelevant to take Key, who spent four years at UAB before transferring to play for ‘Bama in Nick Saban’s final season. Key started at safety and ended up with 60 tackles (1.5 for loss) and one INT, and he will now look to be the 12th consecutive Mr. Irrelevant to play at least one NFL game.
