BT: Aaron Rodgers needs to leave Jets if he is interested in getting into politics

As Aaron Rodgers reportedly considers being Robert Kennedy Jr.’s running mate for a presidential push, BT is growing tired of the Rodgers experience heading into year two.

“We can’t even get to the Big East Tournament before we get all sorts of stuff with Aaron Rodgers,” BT said. “If you truly want to go and pursue politics, go for it…do you. But if that’s what’s in your heart, or partially in your heart, tell us now, pack your bags and get out, and let us find a quarterback who wants to play football.

“If this is true, you need to tell the Jets you’re done. You can’t half-ass this.”

BT had been clamoring for the Jets to “publicly chastise” Rodgers during his well-documented feud with Jimmy Kimmel and controversial appearances on The Pat McAfee Show, and he is starting to believe his desire to come to the Jets may have been partially due to a desire to have a bigger platform like New York.

“I’ve given him every benefit of the doubt…but I also am now beginning to think, for the first time…I’m just starting to think he was just playing us,” BT said. “I never thought he used that to either get more clout or clicks or both. I’m starting to think there was an element of that, and that’s why he wanted New York.”
