It’s almost time for Boomer to make his Super Bowl picks ahead of Week 1, and his tentative picks will not have Giants fans happy.
“Jets/Eagles…I want to have the Jets in the Super Bowl, I really do,” Boomer said. “I think I’m gonna do it.”
What is the one thing that gives Boomer pause about picking Aaron Rodgers and company to reach the Super Bowl? It has nothing to do with anything on the field.
“The only thing that would hold me back…I want my football team eating nails. I don’t want them having cocktails in Broadway too much,” Boomer said. “A little bit is OK.”
The Jets and Broadway shows were a focal point of Hard Knocks again on Tuesday, after the previous episode ended with all the players talking about the best shows they’ve seen since Rodgers arrived and led group outings to go see plays on Broadway. It gives Boomer pause, but he still believes he is picking the J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets to get to the Big Game.
“I think I’m still gonna pick them,” Boomer said. “Just to piss everybody off out there.”
