The Jets will enjoy their bye week after a shocking win over the Eagles, and will return to action in Week 8 when they meet the Giants for a New York battle at MetLife Stadium.
Safe to say Boomer is confident in Gang Green in that game.
“You know they’re winning their next game. They’re not losing to the Giants,” Boomer said. “There’s no way. No way they’re losing to the Giants.
“They’re not playing this week, they’re not gonna get hurt. They’re gonna come out of the gate, it’s gonna be great.”
Boomer expects MetLife to feel like JetLife, as the Jets are carrying momentum and promise, while the Giants are already fighting to save their season. Boomer believes the Jets have the talent edge, are playing better of late, and are a “lock” to beat Big Blue.
“That Giant game is gonna be like a Jet game in terms of the fans,” Boomer said.
“I know you’re all about Brian Daboll and getting him back and he’s gonna save the season…that’s a lock. Come on, that’s a lock.”
