Boomer predicts head coach hires for every NFL vacancy

Gio had Boomer run through the NFL’s head coaching vacancies during Thursday morning’s show, and had him predict who would get each job.

Starting with the Patriots, Boomer gave one of his most confident predictions with Mike Vrabel, though he could see Tom Brady and Vegas do everything it can to try and change Vrabel’s mind.

“It’s New England, or Mark Davis is trying to undercut it,” Boomer said. “Is Mike Vrabel’s agent right now playing the Raiders against the Patriots?”

As for his other predictions, they looked like this:

Raiders: Brian Flores

Jaguars: Ben Johnson

Bears: Kliff Kingsbury

Saints: Aaron Glenn

Last but not least, Boomer believed the Jets would take the “safe” route and take a package deal from Kansas City, going with the Chiefs assistant GM as their new general manager, and their offensive coordinator as their new head coach.

Jets: Mike Borgonzi and Matt Nagy
