The Jets offense once again looked stalled on Sunday, as a 32-6 loss to the previously scuffling Bills put a major dent in Gang Green’s playoff hopes.

Zach Wilson took five sacks, threw for just 81 yards, and was eventually benched in favor of Tim Boyle, with the team’s lone touchdown coming from Breece Hall.

“It’s frustrating,” Hall said of the offense’s performance. “Just trying to help out as much as you can, but just not getting the job done. We need to be better.”

Hall said that was, in a nutshell, the message from head coach Robert Saleh after the game.

“Just have to get better. Be better,” Hall said. “Offensively, we’ve been putting this on film for 10-11 weeks now. It’s frustrating.”

The Jets have maintained their frustration in the offense’s performance for much of the season, but have also maintained confidence in their personnel.
That confidence could be wavering, at least from the coaching staff, with the benching of Wilson.

Meanwhile, as another season seems to be slipping away, Hall gave a massage of apology to the Jets fanbase.

“I'm sorry to the Jets fans, they don't deserve this,” Hall said. “Offense has to be better.”
