Tee Higgins has reportedly requested a trade from the Bengals, and Breece Hall already seems to be on the case.
After news broke of the star wide receiver asking out of Cincinnati, the Jets running back posted on X (formerly known as Twitter), tagging teammates Sauce Gardner and Garrett Wilson, “Bout time we light another bonfire huh?”
The post was a reference to last offseason, when the three young stars gathered around a fire and filmed themselves burning a Packers cheese head that Gardner got after Gang Green beat the Packers. It was an effort to entice Aaron Rodgers to come to New York, which he eventually did in a blockbuster trade.
The Jets clearly need another weapon at wide receiver alongside Wilson, though a star like Higgins will demand a major return.
