BT: Betting over on Jets win total this season is 'easy money'
The Jets over/under for wins in the upcoming season is set at 9.5 and hitting on the over would mean Gang Green finished with double-digit victories for the first time since 2015, when they went 10-6 in their first year under Todd Bowles.
BT says betting the over seems like a sure win right now, given the load of talent the Jets have on paper.
“I think that is easy money for the Jets,” BT said. “Jets schedule is pretty easy, too. Outside of that Niners game to start, there’s a chance the Jets rip off 5-6 games in a row. Look at the schedule.”
BT had high hopes for the Jets last season, but things went off the rails just four snaps in after Aaron Rodgers tore his Achilles. With Rodgers being over 40 years old coming off of major surgery, there are lingering concerns about his health, but BT says even another catastrophic injury to the future Hall of Famer wouldn’t stop this group from being competitive in 2024.
“I think the Jets are gonna be 12-5ish. I do,” BT said. “Even if Aaron Rodgers were to go down for the whole season, I still think the Jets are playing for something on the last game of the season. They have a lot of talent.”
