BT has seen many fans criticizing Aaron Rodgers for taking center stage with his quest to make an unprecedented return from Achilles surgery, and he says the criticisms about ego and self-centeredness are unwarranted.

“There’s always a first time for something,” BT said. “I’m getting a little tired with the way Aaron is being positioned lately…the motivation behind his return is being unfairly positioned…I don’t understand why it’s so hard to just look at a guy and say ‘He loves football, and he’s trying to do something that nobody has done.’”

Rodgers has said his return depends on the Jets still being alive in the playoff race, and Sal says the Rodgers anticipation is only hiding the ugly realities of this Jets season. BT says it’s simply the product of a competitor looking to defy the odds, and that should be applauded.

“It is just fundamentally and patently offensive to not respect his grind to get back,” BT said. “There’s too many people out there who aren’t doing it.”
