BT came out absolutely on fire to start Tuesday’s show, after Aaron Rodgers was lost for the season in what wound up being one of the most memorable Jets wins in the last decade.
From the very start of the show, BT came out at 100 mph in his rally cry for Gang Green, declaring that the season is far from over, despite how gloomy things seemed with Rodgers’ Achilles injury.
“Dov, have that dump button ready, because I honestly don’t know what is going to come out of my mouth,” BT began. “You could go to the bottom of football hell and not construct one more painful than this. I’m actually shaking right now. When you look at everything we’ve been through…since the moment Aaron Rodgers popped on our possible radar, for three months, every day we talked about this guy. An all-time icon, and we actually get him.
“Four plays in, he’s done.
“You got two choices right now. There is the door, that says ‘losers.’ The door to the right says ‘We try to piece this together with the maybe the most talented running back in football. Maybe the most talented running back in football. Maybe the most talented cornerback in football.’”
With that kind of talent on the roster, BT, very loudly, declared that now is not the time to give up on the season.
“Do not tell me today that the season is over! It’s go time!” BT said. “Get up, stop walking around, work like a loser. Get your act together. We're playing until January. There is no way that I'll tap out now! No chance! If you didn't kill us last night, we are unkillable!
“I have Zach's back. I'm not saying Super Bowl, but I am saying playoffs with Zach.”
