Aaron Rodgers will be working out west with some Jets teammates before the team gets back together in New York this summer, but before making the trip, he was spotted at an Ed Sheeran concert at MetLife Stadium, and at the Tony Awards.
It led BT to ask the question, with admittedly little concern: is Rodgers enjoying the New York nightlife a little too much?
“I think Aaron Rodgers is gonna be a top MVP candidate, assuming health,” BT said. “I say it with a smile, but there’s a very low percentage of concern. Tell me if I’m overreacting. It’s one thing to go to the Knicks and Rangers playoff games, that’s fine and awesome, immerse yourself in the city, feel the adulation, let everybody welcome you here. Two Taylor Swift concerts? Fine, that’s cool…he was at the Tony Awards as well. This guy is bouncing around from party to party.
“Should there be any concern - and again, I want to preface this with, if there is any, it is barely visible - but I am legitimately asking. Any concern that Rodgers is having too much fun here? Just a little? He’s been going out a lot.”
Plenty of New York athletes have let life off the field get the best of them at times, and while BT has a shred of concern, he still expects Rodgers to lead the Jets to their most memorable season in a very long time.
