Tee Higgins has reportedly requested a trade from the Bengals, and BT and Sal agree that the Jets should be picking up the phone ASAP.
“Opposite Garrett Wilson would be insane,” BT said. “You’d have to give up a ton, but absolutely.
“You do it…or you at least investigate…the Jets should be at the front of the Higgins line.”
BT doesn’t believe the Jets would have to part with a first-round pick in a potential deal, so they should be all over it.
“They don’t have the second this year because of the Rodgers trade, but a future?” BT said. “Would I give up a second-round pick for him? No doubt.”
Sal agrees, and says the offensive line could be rebuilt through the draft, but he wants a star veteran receiver to give Aaron Rodgers a legit second option.
“I want an established receiver to be opposite Garrett Wilson,” Sal said.
