Aaron Rodgers’ season is over, but he excited many Jets fans Tuesday when he revealed that he plans to play beyond 2024.
BT was among those pumped up, and was right back on the Jets hype train, at least for next year.
“The New York Jets are gonna be awesome next year,” BT said.
“The Jets are gonna have an offensive line with a stud left tackle with AVT and with [Joe] Tippmann, who is very good. So at least 60 percent of their weakest unit right now is going to be really good. That is without a free agent addition.
“Then you throw in Davante Adams and Garrett Wilson, and Breece Hall finally a year removed from surgery, it’s go time.”
BT is convinced the Jets will make a move for Adams’ a former favorite Rodgers target in Green Bay, to bolster the receiving core, while using the draft to shore up the offensive line to complement an already impressive defense. Put it all together, and you have one of the best teams in the AFC.
“I’m not saying Super Bowl,” BT said. “But will the Jets be one of the top three or four teams in the AFC next year? I believe they will be.”
