BT was already highly critical of Robert Saleh’s job performance as Jets head coach, but after reading the recent report by The Athletic detailing the dysfunction within the organization, BT’s frustration reached another level.
“I’m almost bereft of any hope that the Jets can stumble upon success,” BT said.
“When you read this article, the one thing I thought Robert Saleh had - because I know he’s not a good coach - this article paints him in a worse light. I never thought he would be paranoid, or so desperate to change narratives that it would change the way he coaches.”
BT has long called for Saleh to be fired, and now, after learning of his reported frustration with negative media coverage in comparison to the Giants, he believes the Jets truly messed up by declaring Saleh’s job safe despite several proven head coaches being available this offseason.
“They have no hope with this guy,” BT said. “They’ll never win anything with Robert Saleh.
“Why is he here still? I’m dead serious.”
