BT sounds off on Aaron Rodgers body language, blaming teammates

Frustration over Aaron Rodgers’ season grew after another Jets loss on Sunday, as the 41-year-old threw a costly pick six after missing a wide-open Garrett Wilson in the end zone.

BT is fed up with Rodgers’ pedestrian season, but he is growing more frustrated with how the future Hall of Famer is handling the trials and tribulations of the season, particularly when it comes to blaming his teammates for mistakes that BT says Rodgers should just put on himself.

“I understand the frustration is very deep. He’s a proud man and a great player and went to a franchise without salvation,” BT said. “But that doesn’t mean he has to fall victim to it and add to it.

“I am so bothered by the fact that he’s never once put the thumb in his own chest. Not once! There’s always a qualifier...as the quarterback, you have to take those bullets.”

Rodgers noted “inconsistent winds” when asked about missing Wilson in the end zone, and when asked about his play overall, he told reporters, “There’s 11 guys on the field. Sometimes it’s my fault. Definitely, multiple times today. And then sometimes, the details aren’t there in other spots too.”

BT says Rodgers should have ended it before that last sentence if he really wanted to be a leader.

“We know the coaches stink and the organization is a mess, and the O-line is swiss cheese...leave it up to us to interpret the other stuff,” BT said. “Just go ‘Hey, I gotta be better.’ Not ‘but’ or ‘and’ or ‘if.’ Me. It starts with me.

“He’s not the leader I thought he was. Period. He’s just not.”
