BT had plenty of areas of frustration when it came to the Jets loss on Sunday, and the play of Zach Wilson was far down that list.
Sure, Wilson’s performance was not inspiring, especially in the fourth quarter, but BT sounded off on what he believed to be the far worse areas of Gang Green’s game in that 30-10 loss.
“The defense, stop telling me how good you are, and then the opening possession, have it shoved down your throats…the absolute worst start,” BT said. “Coaching, not an ounce of creativity.
“Even Aaron Rodgers, if he’s out there, is doing anything…Duane Brown is done. He’s gotta sit…Quite possibly one of the most pitiful displays of offensive line play across the NFL yesterday. What was Zach Wilson supposed to do?”
Brown, Mekhi Becton, Connor McGovern, Laken Tomlinson, and Alijah Vera-Tucker all struggled at times against Dallas’ potent pass rush, allowing Micah Parsons to log six pressures, four quarterback hits, and one sack. It has become a major area of concern for BT, who believes the team is in trouble regardless of who is at quarterback, unless the offensive line finds some stability.
