C-Lo: Seems like Aaron Rodgers isn't well liked in Jets locker room
Aaron Rodgers’ future is seemingly up in the air, and after another deflating loss on Sunday, Chris Lopresti is leaning towards the Jets moving on from the future Hall of Fame quarterback.
C-Lo’s reasons go beyond Rodgers’ performance on the field, as he believes the 40-year-old went from being revered by his younger teammates to now being seen as a frustrated presence and consistent distraction.
“Things obviously ended badly in Green Bay,” C-Lo said. “He’s been here a couple years now...and yeah, he has some ability, but I see some aspects of the team that should be better, but they’re not.
“I don’t think Aaron Rodgers is very well liked in that locker room...quite honestly, it doesn’t really surprise me. He’s a tricky, complex individual.”
Rodgers put his teammates on notice after Sunday’s loss, declaring that the final games of the season who reveal who is bought in moving forward and who is ready to jump ship, but C-Lo says Rodgers continuously leaves himself out of the blame, when he should be right in the middle of it.
“This year turned into a disaster. I could see next year turning into a disaster,” C-Lo said.
“He speaks as if he’s up on this pedestal...but he’s as much to blame as anybody for what has gone on here.”
