A video of Aaron Rodgers and Garrett Wilson having an animated discussion at Jets training camp went viral on Monday, and C-Mac says any negative reaction to the video is way off the mark.
“I love it all. I love the struggle, and I love Aaron Rodgers holding these guys accountable,” C-Mac said. “I love accountability.
“I think Aaron Rodgers, despite the idea of all the different issues he’s had in Green Bay and the reputation he built up and the inability to work with young players, ever since he’s been a Jet, he’s been great.”
Rodgers and Wilson were clearly frustrated after a day where the defense reportedly took it to the offense for most of the morning, and C-Mac says the discussion is a healthy way to improve before the season, not any kind of sign that there is trouble brewing between the most important Jets connection.
“I know this bothers a lot of people…but he is the team. I don’t think that’s the worst thing in the world,” C-Mac said of Rodgers. “He’s been brought here to change things and win…if there’s gonna be problems, he’s gonna make you feel it.”
