As the Jets continue to get strays from rival and former players, C-Mac says there is only one solution to curing the widespread laughing at the franchise, and that can’t be done until Week 1 of next season.
“They need to freaking win, because they don’t get the benefit of the doubt on any of this,” C-Mac said.
“‘They’re the joke of football, the worst franchise in the sport’…of course there’s probably some truth to it…it just feels like that not only do they need to win just for the idea of winning, and that it’s been 13 years of not making the playoffs…they need to win to end this.”
Fortunately, C-Mac says Gang Green has the formula to accomplish that, and it’s as simple as coming into next season with a healthy Aaron Rodgers under center, as a star quarterback can be the difference between a laughingstock and a winner.
“Rodgers went down and the season was cooked,” C-Mac said. “But if Rodgers is back and healthy, the offense is completely different. He runs the show.”
