C-Mac said Wednesday that he was all in on the Jets this season, and when it came time for predictions on Thursday, he backed up that declaration.
“I think the Jets are gonna win the division. I think they’re loaded,” C-Mac said. “I love everything about this team. From the minute they got Aaron Rodgers, I think they’ve handled everything exactly how they should handle it.
“I think the Bills are gonna take a step back, and it will be between the Jets and Dolphins…I think this is the year. I know it’s a three-year run for Aaron Rodgers, but I think this is gonna be the best of the three. I don’t know if it gets better than this.”
Rodgers gave the Jets a multi-year commitment, but as he approaches 40 years old, C-Mac says this year will likely be his best, and the best for the Jets. The youthful core still has growing to do, and there are a lot of new faces on the sideline, but C-Mac says it won’t get better than this year for Gang Green.
“I know the offense might need time to jell, and they are facing a tougher schedule than they might have to in the next few years,” C-Mac said. “But I think they’re the best team in the division.”
