Craig says Odell Beckham Jr. is going to be a Jet, and that it would ignite a wild celebration among the fanbase for adding the former star wide receiver.
“If the New York Jets sign him, you will celebrate it,” Craig told Evan. “Jets fans would go crazy over it.”
Evan didn’t agree, and believes his fellow Jets fans would be able to have some perspective when it comes to the signing, and the fact that Beckham’s best days are behind him, especially after sitting all of last season with a torn ACL.
“Jets fans would go crazy over a guy that hasn’t sniffed the Pro Bowl in seven years?” Evan said. “It may be a fine depth signing, I’d look at it that way.”
Craig isn’t so sure that the reaction to the signing, which he says is a lock, would be so timid.
“If Odell Beckham Jr. signs with the New York Jets, they’d go bleeping crazy,” Craig said. “You don’t know the fanbase if you don’t think so.”
