The Deebo Samuel rumor mill has been swirling as we inch closer to the NFL Draft where a deal may or may not happen for the star receiver.

The 26-year-old, who wants a contract extension, has reportedly said to be unhappy with the 49ers and requested a trade. Some of the most recent rumors include the Jets ready to make an offer the Niners cannot refuse to land the wideout.

But Samuel addressed his situation on social media Wednesday afternoon with a vague tweet claiming that everyone is talking about a “situation they know nothing about.”

Samuel failed to follow up to clarify what those facts may just be, or what specifically people were getting wrong.

There is uncertainty as to whether or not Samuel will indeed be traded.

KGMZ’s Damon Bruce reported that Samuel had not received an extension from the 49ers but other reports surfaced that Samuel’s camp told the Niners not to make him an offer in the first place.

Niners GM John Lynch would not get into specifics when talking to reporters last week, but said he was confident there is a solution to the situation, but did not say whether that meant keeping Samuel or trading him.

A video last weekend showed Samuel was laughing at the suggestion he would return to the 49ers and cryptic social media post don’t usually mean things are swell with the current situation.

With one day to go until the draft, the Samuel rumor mill will continue to be under a large microscope.
