DALLAS -- With more than half of the NFL season now complete, we're keeping a close watch on the standings, which of course will determine the order of the 2021 NFL Draft.
The Latest:
The Jets remain the leaders in the so-called "Tank for Trevor" Lawrence sweepstakes -- after narrowly missing their first win of the season on Monday Night Football against the Patriots. Gang Green's late-game collapse keeps them in control of their tanking destiny, as it were.
The Cowboys almost pulled off an improbable upset Sunday, falling to the still-undefeated Pittsburgh Steelers 24-19. The loss Dallas kept Dallas at just two wins on the season, with a record of 2-7. They currently own the No. 3 overall pick in the draft, holding a tiebreaker advantage over the division-rival Giants based on the strength of their schedules.
